As per every year celebrated Daan Utsav or the Joy of Giving Week in between 2nd October to 8th October with enthusiasm to help the people in need of support. This week encourages every individual to give; be it time, money, resources, or skills. The joy of giving week teaches us the many benefits of the act of giving

We are conducting tailoring courses at Palghar and Raigad districts. This course has been specially designed for those people who have an interest in sewing not only as an outlet for their creative urges but also those who want to supplement the family income and are learning sewing as a means of livelihood. Here is current status of our course.

As per every year, we distributed free notebooks to each child. The notebooks distribution was conducted under our school support program to fulfill the need, sensitize the children to aware of the value of things, and promote quality education. It is a small step from our NGO to develop social responsibility among students and teach them about sustainable learning.

In our series of skill enhancement activities, we organized a Mehndi design-making activity session for our children. Before the online training session for the demonstration of Mehendi design, we have distributed the required materials to children at the school location. It was wonderful activity. Children learned a new skill and enjoyed the session.

This year we celebrated the Diwali festival with our children in a creative way. Diwali is known as the festival of lights and depicts the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and so on. We organized Diyas painting activity across all the centers. We distributed unpainted Diyas to children. All the children had active participation for the activity. Children were very happy and satisfied by painting beautiful Diyas. We were happy that we could remove the darkness from their hearts by filling it with light.

Despite the changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, there's still plenty of fun to be had. Seeking out fun activities may be even more important now. Doing something you enjoy can distract you from problems and help you cope with life's challenges. Okhla, Delhi community center’s children visited ZOO by following government guidelines of the situation. Senior students of our Delhi school and American School’s Volunteers also joined this outing to take care of community children. All were full of excitement. After a well-spent day at the Zoo, the children returned home fully satisfied and with happy memories. It was a learning experience for the children.

Here is a glance at academic, extra, and curricular activities we conducted in the last month at our Roots and Wings, Balwadi Center. Along with our regular activities, we have conducted a Medical Check-up camp successfully for our small kids. health is the primary wealth of human beings and must be protected. The overall health conditions of all the students were checked up by doctors and team. After checking up, the doctors discussed with the parents and teachers team. Also, prescribe necessary actions and precautions if needed to be taken.

Covid 19 has given rise to online teaching which has caused a dramatic change in the education system. This has created a sense of fear and anxiety among students as they would miss out on an opportunity to excel. But our organization decided to conduct virtual classes which would not create a barrier in gaining education. With our dedicated team of teachers and the willingness of students we have successfully won over the pandemic.

It aims to provide skill based teaching learning experience which helps women to become self-reliant and live a dignified life. We implement such courses to the underprivileged women who are willing to learn and earn.

Art is an act of expressing feelings, thoughts and observations. Apart from academics, we encourage students to showcase their talent through art. It increases a child's creativity level, boosts their confidence, helps them to nurture their hobby and provides a fun learning experience.

The DLLE(Department of Lifelong Learning and Education) Department of Lala Lajpat Rai College presented a virtual inter college fest named Humar 21'. This fest provided platform to the childen to showcase their talents.

The event was for the location of Wadala. Hygiene lessons were given on how to brush teeth and wash hands to the children.

TAP goal is to inculcate socio-emotional skills among children from Indian government schools by mentoring them in a subject they are passionate about. Currently our students are engaged in below activities with TAP:-

To Organize The Event We Search For The Suitable Ground, Sports Requirements, Snacks For All The Students & Teachers & Volunteers. We Appoint Volunteers Who Assist Us Throughout The Event.

EOTO Kids Get Very Excited About Christmas, And A Christmas Party Is A Great Way To Reward Students For Working Hard And Achieving Their Goals At School. It Also Serves To Help Them Make Positive Associations With EOTO.

On November 14 Every Year, Children's Day Is Celebrated All Across India. It Commemorates The Birth Anniversary Of Jawaharlal Nehru, Who, Due To His Love For Children Was Fondly Known As Chacha Nehru. The Day Emphasises On The Importance Of Giving Love, Attention And Affection To Children.

A Blend Of Exceptional Creativity And Imagination Was Displayed By The Students Of EOTO During Card Making Competition. The Competition Aimed At Promoting Creativity & Self Expression Among Students.

We Celebrate This Event Every Year By Booking The Auditorium With All The Event Facilities, Other Requirements, Snacks, Meals For Participants , Volunteers & Ex Students. Bus Arrangements For Students From Tribal Areas, Urban & Rural. We Make Preparations Well In Advance By 6months To Finalize Flow Of Event.

Children Are Overwhelmed With Joy As They Celebrate Their Birthday With Other Classmates. By Spreading Smiles With Our Children Is A Cherishing Experience.

A School Uniform Teaches Students To Dress Smartly And Take Pride In Their Appearance. ... Perhaps Most Importantly, A Uniform Means Students Don't Have To Worry About Peer Pressure When It Comes To Their Clothes. When Everyone Is Dressed The Same, Worrying About What You Look Like Isn't So Important.

Following was the topic given to students for the essay writing competition, the responses for which were extremely encouraging and positively overwhelming.

The ex-students gathered for an event full of fun, to exchange views and to conduct a career guidance session for the current students. There were lots of motivating & inspiring stories that were shared throughout the evening.

Teachers and staff 28 in all, of Each One Teach One planned a overnight picnic to Lonavla on the 17th and 18th April 2015,

These picnic was provide a wonderful opportunity to catch up with old and new friends.

The food was great. The Team was very energetic all who attended had a great time.

Everyone was so nice and helpful and made everyone feel welcome.

Our Founder, Ms. Jyoti Tanna received an award from the Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management and also �The Women of Excellence Award 2014,� for her outstanding contribution in the field of Philanthropy.

EOTO sponsored gifts for children of various schools as part of their children�s day celebrations. These gifts were offered as tokens of love from the management. On this day, the teachers took a back seat and the children came to the forefront as teachers. This helped the children step into the shoes of their teachers and empathize with them. They also learned about the daily routine of a teacher.

Training & Development is a sub-system of an organization. It reduces randomness, maintains standardization and ensures learning is imparted in a structured format. Thus, our resource person, Ms. Khursheed Merchant conducted a workshop, which consisted of exercises on direct dialogue (in pairs and groups). This was done in order to promote free speech and expression.

Mr. Deepak Punjabi conducted a 3-day personality development workshop at the Chunabhatti Municipal School. The aim of the workshop was to help children understand the value of education, life skills, training and to empower them so that they can become independent citizens someday.

An effective teacher is often an excellent communicator and therefore thinks about improving his/her presentation skills. If a teacher cannot communicate in a way that is both comprehensible and interesting to the students, their learning will greatly be reduced. Thus, we conducted a workshop to provide teachers with the necessary training for effective presentation in a classroom.

EOTO organized a health camp for 380 under-privileged children from urban & rural Schools. This camp was arranged in association with L&T, the Bhramakumaries and a team of two competent doctors : Dr. Dinesh Badani & Dr. Shardha Palekar. Children suffering from cold, cough and calcium disorders were given free consultation and medication for a month.

A career guidance workshop was organized at a school in Dadar, Mumbai. Over 30 students participated in the session conducted by our teachers and a panel of career guidance experts.

September 2014 was an exciting month for many teachers and children owing to the annual day celebrations, practices and rehearsals. The function entailed a small cultural program filled with dance, drama and story-telling. The students took active part in making the event an entertaining one.

Birthdays of several students were combined into one mega party.

We had Environment Awareness Day celebration at TATA MOTORS

Forbes office on 4’th July 2014. 10 students, 2 teachers and a school coordinator attended this programme. Students were applauded appreciated and welcomed by the TM employees. Students read out the slogan loudly in the work floor and later did the skit on environment twice to two batches of employees. All the students introduced themselves in English, which was an excellent display of confidence and potential. It was wonderful day what kids had learnt.

Science is best understood with hands-on experience. Thus, a science workshop was conducted for students of class X, themed Scientists of Tomorrow.

The children were taken for an outdoor picnic

Each One Teach One started its support program recently in Tardeo Municipal School. Each One Teach One supports the students in the school by conducting various developmental activities for them.

On 1st March, a recreational party was organized for 130 children of the school in which the children enthusiastically participated in a number of games. The children were given nice gifts and a sumptuous snacks on this occasion. It was a fun day for the children in which they had a real good time.

EOTO tied up with Toy Bank an NGO donating toys for recreational activities, to open up its second Toy Library, this time at Rajawadi Municipal School.

Dr. Navin Gupta and his assistants generously conducted an eye checkup camp on a voluntary basis. His team conducted basic vision screening, diagnosis and treatments for the students.

In association with Ambuja Cement and Veeda Clinical Research Pvt. Ltd., we organized a fun-filled fund raising event for kids, at the Joss Banquet, Fort, Mumbai. The event involved an exciting display of 12 stalls that had activities and toys for kids. Over 500 kids visited the mini carnival and had a wonderful time. The event was also used as a platform to spread awareness about our activities and initiatives.

With the help of Dr. Marc, a practicing Psychologist from USA and Ms. Asha Dutia, a personal counsellor, EOTO conducted a Map Making Workshop for the students of Tardeo Municipal School.

On 6th of January 2012, 225 students of Class X from various schools in Palghar were taken for a Mumbai Darshan. They visited prominent spots like Nehru Planetarium, Nehru Science Centre and the Isckon Temple. They took back a lot of fun, exposure and scientific spirit.

On 23rd December 2011, EOTO conducted a Farewell Party for Std. X students of the New Sion Municipal School at Jain Society. On this occasion, our prestigious donors, Ms. Britta & Mr. Karl Klamann were present as the guests of honor.

EOTO organized a Motivational Workshop at the Lal Bahadur Shashtri High school at Manor, Palghar. Mr. Jaiprakash Kabra and Ms. Neha Vaidya from Mind Movers Consulting Ltd. conducted the workshop for 150 students of class X.

World-renowned puppeteer and children�s theatre director, Ms. Meena Naik conducted a workshop on Gender Sensitization. Children from four EOTO supported schools; i.e. Chunabhatti, Andheri, Vile-Parle and Ghatkopar participated in the workshop.

Dr. Shraddha Shah and her colleagues from Tatwa Health Foundation conducted a workshop on Gender Sensitization for the students of Chunabhatti Municipal School. Over 55 students participated in the workshop. The resource persons made the session student friendly with the inclusion of Audio-Visual clippings and fun questions.

Neha Kadam student of Business Management from Symbiosis Institute, Pune shared her knowledge on soft skills with our senior students, so that they become employable on completing their education. The children were also tested on logical & visual reasoning, creative problem solving and general knowledge.

Drishti Human Resources organized a 6-day workshop for EOTO Primary teachers. The teachers were given inputs on innovative ways of building a child�s interest in studies.

Moral Re-Armament Centre organized a teacher's workshop at Asia Plateau, Panchgani. EOTO sent 5 of teachers from its rural projects at Palghar and Dhamote. This gave the teachers an opportunity to set out of their rural settlement, gain exposure and interact with other teachers through the program.

A training on Fluid Intelligence was conducted by Dr. Marc, a Psychologist from US and Ms. Asha Dutia, a personal counselor. The Each One Teach One teachers enjoyed and learnt new methods to  encourage fluid and lateral thinking among the students.

Each One Teach One organised the Annual Picnic at Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Volunteers and staff creatively designed games for the children which they enjoyed thoroughly.

At the Annual Program organized at Kurje High School in Palghar meritorious students were recognized and awarded.
